Total wine & More
Total Wine & More is America's Wine Superstore® — the country‘s largest independent retailer of fine wine. Majority of the customers prefer to buy product in Total wine for their expert recommendation and fair price.
Project Overview
Total Wine & More is exploring the development of a mobile app with the ultimate goal of driving sales. While there are no specific topic restrictions, initial ideas could revolve around themes related to parties and celebrations
My Design Process
My project's initial concept is to establish a platform tailored for party planners, simplifying the invitation process while also enabling them to gather attendance confirmations and drink preferences. This functionality aids hosts in assessing the quantity of drinks required and streamlines the purchasing process via Total Wine & More's app.

Strength
-
Include party essentials checklist for user to understand what to prepare for their party.
-
Countdown function is clear for user to
Weakness
-
Get confused when doing drink calculator question.
-
Poor navigation in how to start to plan my event.
-
The function of the tab menu on the top is unknown.
1️⃣ Competitive Analysis
While conducting my research, I discovered a unique gap in the market where no existing platform seamlessly integrates party planning tools with an alcohol calculator. To explore this opportunity further, I conducted a competitive analysis, evaluating two party planning apps and one alcohol recommendation app

The structure of the screen and the information they provide is very clear.
-
Information with icon help people find information they want.
-
Keep the most important information in the page, use secondary navigation to find more information.
Weakness
-
Don't know where to start in main page
-

Frustations
-
It is time-consuming to send invitation one by one.
-
Always buy too much alcohol for attendees.
Goals
-
Easy way to posting party information.
-
Collect attendees
-
Collect attendees' drinking amount.
User Scenario

Listing out user scenarios allows me to anticipate the actions users may want to take and identify features that need to be addressed during the design ideation phase.
I've segmented the event invitation process into five distinct stages:
-
Create event initiation
-
Input event details
-
Send out invitations
-
Gather attendee RSVPs and their drink preferences
-
Facilitate alcohol purchases
3️⃣ Design Ideation
Sketch
By breaking down the event-inviting process into these five fundamental stages, I created sketches for the key screens associated with each stage.

Wireframe
I employed low-fidelity wireframes to outline the fundamental user flow for each of these stages
